Music and Storytelling are “Showcased” in their programs

SouthWind is Suzie & Gary Solomon. Suzie has been entertaining folks for years with her storytelling and singing. She has a degree in elementary education and that has been helpful in performing for schools. She married Gary in 2005 and he joined her. You’ll enjoy their unique blend of fiddle, banjo, guitar, mandolin, dulcimer, and autoharp, along with their vocal harmonies. They call their music “porch”. Whether on a stage or in their kitchen pickin’ by the woodstove, SouthWind is preserving a tradition of music that is fun. They would like to take you back to another day when family and friends got together to make music and have a good time. They love to interact with the crowd and hope to make everyone a participant. Their show features a wide array of old-time music, guaranteed to get you moving and leave you with a smile!
